It's a happy day today in Minnesota. It is all starting to come together for long suffering Timberwolves fans.
Despite Kevin Garnett fouling out early in overtime, in what some are already calling the worst officiated game ever, the Timberwolves beat the LA Lakers 114-110 to take a 2-1 series lead over the three-time defending champs.
Despite officiating so questionable that some fans wondered whether Stern is really trying to sell more Lakers t-shirts, the Wolves came away with a huge win to boost morale for Game 4. Should the Timberwolves win that game, they will have an opportunity to close out the series at home.
