Beyond John Stockton's potential retirement and the uncertainty over where Karl Malone will play next season, much ado has been made over the future of Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan.
     
Sloan has one year remaining on his current contract and has said nothing publicly to suggest he intends to do anything other than honor it.

Still, speculation persists.
