The cocksure attitude that the Orlando Magic had when they walked off the floor after Game 4 of their series against the Detroit Pistons is gone.
So is the 3-1 lead that they held.
The Magic buckled under the weight of a career-high 40-point performance from Chauncey Billups and lost 103-88 Friday night to the Pistons at TD Waterhouse Centre. Instead of becoming only the NBA's third No. 8 seed to ever eliminate the team with the best record in its conference, the Magic now risk becoming the first team since the 1997 New York Knicks to drop a best-of-seven series after being up three games to one.
