Saint Joseph's junior point guard Jameer Nelson will announce today that he is making himself eligible for the June 26 NBA draft, according to a school source. The source said Nelson will not hire an agent, which will, should he so choose, give him the option of coming back to school for his senior season. Underclassmen have until June 19 to withdraw their names from the draft.

Nelson's official announcement will come at an 11 a.m. news conference at the school. The source said Nelson wants to see if he can get an invitation to the NBA's predraft camp from June 3-6 at Chicago's Moody Bible Institute. The NBA pays all expenses for underclassmen to go to Chicago.
