Although NBA players and fans have caught the Dirk Nowitzki act for five seasons now, Hedo Turkoglu remembers the Dallas Mavericks forward from a different era.
Turkoglu, the Kings swingman and native of Turkey, used to either team with Nowitzki, a German, or compete against him when they battled in overseas events.

"And he had the same hair then, too," Turkoglu said, adding that he himself did not. "We played together on a junior national team. He was good then, too. He was the same height, same kind of talent. Only now he's gotten much better. And he is still hard to defend."
