The Jazz kick off their first round of pre-draft workouts this morning when they bring in four college players for a look.

Josh Howard of Wake Forest, the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year, and Brian Cook of Illinois, the Big 10 Player of the Year, are among those the Jazz coaches and executives will work out at the team"s practice facility.

Howard, a 6-foot-6 senior, led the ACC in scoring last season, averaging 19.5 ppg, and he was third in rebounds, averaging 8.3 per game.

Cook, a 6-foot-10 senior forward, led the Big 10 in scoring, averaging 20.0 points.

Also scheduled for a tryout are 6-9 forward Mario Austin of Mississippi State, an All-SEC selection who averaged 16.1 points and 7.6 rebounds last season as a junior; and Willie Green, a 6-4 senior guard from Detroit Mercy.

The Jazz staff will head to Chicago next week for the NBA"s annual pre-draft camp, in preparations for the annual draft on June 26.
