Alabama point guard Maurice Williams will likely wait until Thursday's deadline to decide if he'll remain for the NBA draft.
Williams will work out today in Seattle for the SuperSonics, then fly cross-country to conduct a personal workout Thursday for NBA runner-up New Jersey prior to making up his mind.
Williams has applied for early entry but has not hired an agent, meaning he could return to Alabama for his junior season. Though he is thought to be leaning toward staying in the draft, his father, Ike, said it's not a slam dunk.
"He hasn't decided anything as of today," Ike Williams said Monday. "I'm pretty sure it'll be a 12th-hour deal."
Maurice Williams did not return a message left on his phone. He has said in recent weeks he intended to leave Alabama if he felt certain he'd be taken in the first round of the NBA draft.
