Even in a long offseason of great uncertainty, perhaps no week makes Kevin O'Connor more weak than the one that begins today.

By Thursday night, when the NBA holds its annual draft of pro hopefuls, O'Connor's jittery stomach will have made more flips than the spatula of a short-order chef.

The Jazz's vice president of basketball operations could not begin to tell you what he might eat in the hours before the draft begins. That ranks rather low on the list of critical choices he must make that day. But O'Connor does have a hunch as to what will become of whatever he opts to munch for lunch.
