Look for the Timberwolves to make Troy Bell of Minneapolis their first pick in tonight's NBA draft, if he's available.

If the 6-foot-1 point guard from Holy Angels and Boston College is drafted before the Wolves pick at No. 26, look for the Wolves to take 6-7 wing Aleksandar Pavlovic of Serbia.

Minnesota also could select 6-9, 205-pound Ndudi Ebi, who recently graduated from Westbury Christian High in Houston. But he is not at the top of the Wolves' wish list.

Bell, selected the most valuable player among 65 prospects at the recent Chicago NBA invitational predraft camp, had what onlookers described as a terrific workout for the Timberwolves on Wednesday. Coach Flip Saunders, a former University of Minnesota point guard, is high on Bell.
