Carl English has a point to prove to all the NBA teams that passed on drafting him.

He wants them to know they made a huge mistake opting not to select a player who could play three positions.

More than anything, English, who is participating in the Indiana Pacers' minicamp this week at Conseco Fieldhouse, said he would like them to know that this setback won't haunt him forever.

Sure, it stings now, especially after the shooting guard from the University of Hawaii was projected by various media mock drafts as either a late first-round or early second-round pick. But what's done is done, for now, because English has more pressing concerns.

The first of those is the current three-day session. English is one of 17 players hoping to show Pacers president Donnie Walsh enough to warrant a return trip for training camp in October.
