Three days after the NBA's free-agent market opened, the Jazz's cart is no fuller than when their summer shopping extravaganza began.

No known commitments, no clearer picture of who might be coming to Utah for the 2003-04 season.

But there has been plenty of activity at the grocery.

It begins with former University of Utah star Andre Miller, who said Thursday night he plans to visit with Jazz officials in Salt Lake some time next week, probably Wednesday.

"Everything's positive so far," Miller said of his communication with the Jazz.

Miller, an unrestricted free agent who played the point for the Los Angeles Clippers last season, said he isn't sure how his summer of restricted freedom will play out.

The Los Angeles Clippers have the right to match an offer Miller might receive, and the Denver Nuggets also are courting the ex-Ute. But Miller, who plans to visit Denver on Tuesday, suggested he is unaware of sincere interest from elsewhere, leaving his future quite uncertain.
