Orlando Magic guard Darrell Armstrong was arrested early this morning and is in Orange County jail facing felony charges for allegedly hitting a police officer, reports said.

Police said the incident occurred in downtown Orlando outside Club Firestone. Armstrong was blocking traffic while trying to get a cab then then would not get out of the road when a cab left, reports said.

Police said Armstrong pushed an officer who tried to get him to move. The officer was sent to the hospital with a possibly broken finger.

Armstrong is charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
