The Orlando Magic have re-signed free agent forward-center Andrew DeClercq, General Manager John Gabriel announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal are not disclosed.

DeClercq (6?10?, 255, 2/1/73) played in 77 games for Orlando during the 2002-03 campaign, averaging 4.7 ppg. and 4.4 rpg. in 17.2 minpg. He made 21 starts, averaging 4.6 ppg. and 4.8 rpg. in 18.2 minpg. during that span. DeClercq led (or tied) the team in rebounding eight times and scored in double figures seven times. He also played in all seven postseason outings (six starts) vs. Detroit, averaging 4.0 ppg. and 3.3 rpg. in 14.9 minpg.

DeClercq has appeared in 508 career NBA regular season games with Golden State, Boston, Cleveland and Orlando, averaging 5.1 ppg. and 4.3 rpg. in 16.9 minpg. during his career. He was originally selected by Golden State in the second round (34th overall) of the 1995 NBA Draft. DeClercq was acquired by the Magic on Aug. 3, 2000 from Cleveland, and has played in 205 regular season games with Orlando.
