With the free agent pool getting shallower by the day, the Utah Jazz have missed out on one free agent guard and seem to be leaning away from another.

When the sun rose Tuesday, the Jazz were still waiting on the LA Clippers' decision regarding whether to match the offer to restricted free agent Corey Maggette, and they were reportedly close to inking another with Hawks guard Jason Terry.  By evening, it was clear neither would wind up in Utah.
