DENVER (AP) Carmelo Anthony had 23 points and seven assists and Voshon Lenard added 19 points for Denver, which has won four of five and is off to its best start (7-5) since opening the 1989-90 season 8-4.
The Nuggets are 5-1 at home after needing until Jan. 8 to get their fifth home win last season.
Andre Miller added 15 points and eight assists, and Chris Andersen had 11 points and five blocked shots for Denver.
Gilbert Arenas had 27 points and Larry Hughes 12 for Washington, which has lost five of seven.
Jazz 99, Bucks 90
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Andrei Kirilenko scored 20 points and Raul Lopez scored a career-high 18 as the Utah Jazz overcame injuries to starters Carlos Arroyo and DeShawn Stevenson.
Arroyo and Stevenson left the court _ Stevenson on a stretcher _ within 70 seconds of each other in the third quarter. The Jazz erased a seven-point deficit and then took charge in the fourth quarter as Lopez scored seven straight points.
Matt Harpring scored 18 for the Jazz, who improved to 6-1 at home.
Michael Redd led Milwaukee with 28 points. Tim Thomas was scoreless in the fourth quarter as the Bucks lost their third straight for the first time this season.
Kings 122, Magic 92
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Brad Miller had his first career triple-double with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists, helping the Sacramento Kings extend the Orlando Magic's losing streak to 12 games.
It was the fourth straight victory for the Kings, who are unbeaten in six games at home this season and extended their Arco Arena winning streak over Eastern Conference opponents to 22 games.
There was little suspense in this one. Benefiting from a fast start, the Kings led by 10 points after one quarter and by 16 at the half. Showing no mercy to a team concluding the fifth and final game of its road trip, the Kings opened the third quarter by making 10 of 11 shots, hiking their lead to 83-56 with 5:51 remaining.
Warriors 101, Heat 91
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) Jason Richardson scored 29 points and Cliff Robinson added 21, helping the Golden State Warriors end a four-game losing streak.
Erick Dampier recorded his 11th double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds as the Warriors improved to 17-2 in their last 19 games against Eastern Conference opponents, including 4-0 this season.
Lamar Odom scored 20 points for the Heat, which lost its second straight and third in four road games. Dwyane Wade added 13 points and John Wallace had 14. Eddie Jones, who had scored over 20 points in nine of 10 games, was held to eight points on 3-of-13 shooting.
Lakers 101, Bulls 94
LOS ANGELES (AP) Kobe Bryant took over with Shaquille O'Neal missing the fourth quarter because of a calf injury.
Bryant scored 17 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter after the Lakers trailed by four points in the first four minutes.
O'Neal left for good in the third with a strained right calf muscle. He finished with 15 points and seven rebounds in 25 minutes. Gary Payton added 15 points, Karl Malone had 14 points and 18 rebounds and Bryon Russell had 12 points off the bench.
The Lakers improved to 6-0 at home, where they've won 21 consecutive regular-season games.
Grizzlies 98, SuperSonics 97
SEATTLE (AP) Jason Williams scored 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting, and his 3-pointer with 10.7 seconds to play helped Memphis win a game with a confusing ending.
Williams' last shot put Memphis ahead 97-94, and Lorenzen Wright added a free throw that made a difference when Seattle's Vladimir Radmanovic swished a 3-pointer with 0.9 seconds on the clock.
After a timeout, the Grizzlies couldn't get an inbounds play started. Shane Battier bounced the ball onto the court but nobody touched it until Seattle's Ronald Murray ran it down and threw up a shot just after the horn sounded.
But the clock never should have started. Officials met for a moment, then gave possession to the Sonics with 0.6 seconds left. Brent Barry inbounded to Rashard Lewis, whose one-handed toss from in front of the Memphis bench wasn't close.
Trail Blazers 85, Rockets 78
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) Zach Randolph had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead the Trail Blazers in a game that ended with Rasheed Wallace holding back Cuttino Mobley.
The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for the Rockets, who were led by Yao Ming's 21 points and nine rebounds.
Damon Stoudamire had 23 points and seven assists for the Blazers, who upped their record to 7-1 at home.After the game there was a scuffle that resulted in Wallace holding back Houston's Mobley, who was shouting at Portland's bench. It was not immediately known what the disagreement was about, but it was quickly diffused.
