Jason Kidd missed only his third game as a Net on Saturday, watching an 81-80 loss to the Toronto Raptors. Kidd has been battling a sore kneecap since bruising it in the season opener at Toronto. Kidd was getting by with the injury until Tuesday, when his knee swelled up in a loss to New Orleans.
LEBRON SHUTDOWN
Atlanta's defense held LeBron James to 3-for-16 shooting and the Hawks sent Cleveland to its 29th straight road loss, 92-83 Saturday night. James finished with 15 points after hitting nine of 10 free throws.
STRONG IN DEFEAT
Quentin Richardson led the Clippers with a career-high 36 points on 12-for-19 shooting, but Los Angeles lost to Minnesota 103-91 Saturday night.
GUARDED KNICKS
Shandon Anderson replaced injured guard Allan Houston in the starting lineup and scored 20 points Saturday night in New York's 99-88 victory over Philadelphia. Point guard Howard Eisley added 17 points and nine assists, making five of the Knicks' 10 3-pointers and backup guard Charlie Ward scored 18, making four 3s.

Antoine Walker scored a season-high 25 points, Antawn Jamison had a season-best 26 points, Steve Nash added 18 points and eight assists and Dirk Nowitzki had 19 points and 11 rebounds as Dallas overcame a sluggish start for a 115-101 victory over Denver on Saturday night.

With a 100-98 victory over Miami on Saturday night, the Suns hit the 100-point mark for the first time this season. Phoenix (6-6) set a franchise record by going their first 11 games without reaching triple-digits in points.
