Memphis' game at Utah was postponed Wednesday because snow and ice prevented the Grizzlies from leaving Portland, Ore. No makeup date was immediately set. It was the second straight night Memphis couldn't play because of bad weather. The Grizzlies' game Tuesday against the Trail Blazers was postponed until March 3 because freezing rain and ice made travel dangerous after a storm dumped several inches of snow on downtown Portland.

Orlando's Tracy McGrady scored 28 points in a 101-93 loss to the Celtics on Wednesday night. ... Elton Brand had 26 points and 12 rebounds for the Clippers in their 100-80 loss to the 76ers. ... The Suns' Joe Johnson had 25 points and seven assists, but Phoenix lost to the Bucks 95-87. ... Lakers guard Kobe Bryant had 27 points and six assists in a 113-91 loss to the Nuggets.
SUSPENDED
New Jersey's Kenyon Martin and Los Angeles' Corey Maggette were each suspended for two games without pay by the NBA on Wednesday, a day after they were ejected from a Clippers-Nets game for fighting. The players threw punches in the third quarter of the Nets' 92-75 win Tuesday night, after Martin foul Maggette hard on a drive.

The Denver Nuggets had a 60-37 advantage in rebounds in a 113-91 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night to end a streak of 10 straight games in which they were outrebounded.
BAD BOYS REVISITED
Detroit won its seventh straight game for the first time since March 2-14, 1992, with an 85-66 victory over Houston on Wednesday night.
