"Isiah is far from done," said an Eastern Conference GM who recently spoke to Thomas. "I get the impression that he is going to make another deal soon."

Frank Isola writes that Thomas, who returned to his home in Indianapolis on Monday but will be at the Garden tonight, is looking for ways to make the Knicks more athletic to best utilize Stephon Marbury's skills. The Knicks and Cavs continue to discuss a deal for Darius Miles that could include Michael Doleac and Frank Williams heading to Cleveland.

Another possibility is Portland's Rasheed Wallace, who will become a free agent this summer. The Blazers would have to take back Keith Van Horn in order for that trade to work. There is a better possibility that the two teams will work out a sign-and-trade deal during the offseason.
