DALLAS (AP) Ron Artest scored 26 points Friday night to help the Indiana Pacers stretch their winning streak to seven games and improve the NBA's best record with a 92-80 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

Al Harrington and Jermaine O'Neal added 16 points each, and Jamaal Tinsley had 11 points and 12 assists for the Eastern Conference-leading Pacers (28-10).

Indiana's uptempo offense produced a 25-4 edge in fastbreak points. Dallas lost for only the third time at home.

Dirk Nowitzki's 20 points led the Mavericks, but he had only five in the second half. Antawn Jamison had 19 points and Shawn Bradley added a season-high 12.

Spurs 94, Hornets 84

Hedo Turkoglu scored 13, Tony Parker and Ron Mercer each scored 12, and Rasho Nesterovic and Devin Brown had 10 points apiece for the Spurs.

Baron Davis led the Hornets with 19 points, but early foul trouble limited his playing time.

76ers 97, Nets 81

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Glenn Robinson scored 24 of his season-high 26 points in the first half, leading Philadelphia over New Jersey.

Robinson's best game of the season helped offset a poor first half by Allen Iverson, who was bothered by the flu.

Iverson, playing his third game since missing 10 straight with a bruised knee, came on late and finished with 17 points and 11 assists for his first double-double since Nov. 14.

Nets guard Jason Kidd left with 7:01 remaining because of a sprained middle finger and did not return.

New Jersey played without Kenyon Martin, who sat out the first game of his two-game suspension for fighting with Corey Maggette of the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night.

Celtics 107, Cavaliers 82

BOSTON (AP) Paul Pierce had 30 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists before sitting out most of the fourth quarter and Boston coasted to its 13th consecutive victory over Cleveland.

Boston held LeBron James to 19 points on 7-for-19 shooting. But he was still the high scorer on a team that has five former Celtics _ a result of two trades in the past six months as the struggling franchise tries to rebuild around the top pick in last year's draft.

Tony Battie had 10 points and 13 rebounds in the first game between the teams since the Dec. 15 trade that sent him to Cleveland with Eric Williams and Kedrick Brown for Ricky Davis, Chris Mihm and Michael Stewart.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Tracy McGrady scored 35 points and Orlando ended a six-game losing streak by holding on to beat Washington.

Keith Bogans added 13 points, and Juwan Howard had 10 points and 12 rebounds. Lee Nailon came off the bench to score 11 points, all in the fourth quarter, while Andrew DeClercq grabbed a season-best 13 rebounds before fouling out.

Washington, the NBA's worst shooting team, scored 11 points in the opening quarter en route to a 25-point first half despite facing the league's worst defensive team.

Larry Hughes scored 22 of his 26 points in the second half for Washington, which has lost four straight and nine of 10.

Clippers 78, Raptors 68

TORONTO (AP) Elton Brand had 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Chris Wilcox added 17 points and eight rebounds to help short-handed Los Angeles beat Toronto.

Glen Rice scored 11 points for the Clippers, who were missing two of their top scorers in Corey Maggette and Quentin Richardson.

Maggette served the second game of his two-game suspension for fighting with New Jersey's Kenyon Martin. Richardson has a strained right hand.

Vince Carter went 5-for-18 from the field and scored just 12 points for the Raptors, who were booed off the court. Toronto's Jalen Rose had 26 points.

Raptors rookie center Chris Bosh missed the game with a strained right knee.

Bucks 103, Heat 94

MILWAUKEE (AP) Toni Kukoc scored 24 points, grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds and keyed a decisive second-period surge that propelled Milwaukee past Miami.

The Bucks have won five in a row for the first time this season. They climbed to four games over .500 (20-16) for the first time since last Feb. 14 and won their eighth straight home game.

The Heat were led by Lamar Odom's 22 points and 15 rebounds.

Trail Blazers 87, Bulls 78

CHICAGO (AP) Derek Anderson scored 19 points and Portland ended a four-game losing streak by beating Chicago.

The Trail Blazers won on the road for just the second time in 15 games this season, and did it without second-leading scorer Rasheed Wallace, who sat out with a sprained left ankle.

Dale Davis finished with 10 rebounds and had five of Portland's 11 blocked shots.

The Bulls got 21 points from Jamal Crawford.

Nuggets 106, Jazz 96

DENVER (AP) Carmelo Anthony shook off some rough treatment by Utah to score 15 of his 27 points in the second half, helping Denver hold off the Jazz.

Utah shot just 26 percent and trailed by 19 at halftime but cut Denver's lead to 89-83 on Raul Lopez's 3-pointer with six minutes left.

DeShawn Stevenson followed by hitting one of two free throws, but that was as close as the Jazz got.

Nene had 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting and Andre Miller added 18 points and seven assists for Denver.

Stevenson led Utah with 19 points, and Greg Ostertag added 15 points and 13 rebounds.
