MILESTONE

Jazz coach Jerry Sloan earned his 800th victory with the Jazz with a 92-71 win over the Hawks on Saturday night. Sloan, the longest-tenured head coach with the same team in professional sports, improved his record with the Jazz to 894-538.

NEW HEIGHTS

Washington's Larry Hughes scored a season-high 43 points to lead the Wizards to a 94-87 victory over the 76ers Saturday night. Hughes made 17 of 29 shots, helping the Wizards break a four-game losing streak.

ARENAS OUT

Washington Wizards point guard Gilbert Arenas will be sidelined three to six weeks after aggravating his abdominal injury. Arenas reinjured his strained lower abdomen during Friday's 103-92 loss at Orlando. On the season, Arenas is averaging 18.2 points and 4.8 assists in 20 games.

San Antonio's Tim Duncan has 30 double-doubles in 33 games this season. He has 375 of them in 484 career games. Duncan had 30 points and 15 rebounds in an 89-88 overtime victory over Indiana on Saturday night.
