AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) Chauncey Billups scored 21 of his 27 points in the second half and the Detroit Pistons won their eighth straight game despite allowing 100 points for the first time this season, beating the Dallas Mavericks 115-102 Sunday night.

Detroit, which hadn't won eight in a row since the 1990-91 season, had its NBA-record streak of not allowing 100 points snapped at 38 games, including 36 this season. The Pistons had held their last two opponents under 70 points _ Boston (68) and Houston (66). The Mavericks entered the game ranked second in the league in scoring, averaging 101.6 points a game.

The Pistons hit 13 of 20 3-pointers, including seven by Billups and five from Chucky Atkins, and finished with a season-high point total. Atkins had 18 points for Detroit while Ben Wallace had a season-high 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Steve Nash led Dallas with 18 points, while Marquis Daniels had a career-high 16.

Raptors 83, Trail Blazers 72

TORONTO (AP) Vince Carter had 20 points, seven assists, six rebounds and four blocks to lead Toronto over Portland.

Jalen Rose had 17 points, and Donyell Marshall added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Raptors, who rebounded from Friday's loss to the short-handed Los Angeles Clippers. All of Toronto's starters scored in double figures.

Jeff McInnis had 20 points for the Trail Blazers, who played their second straight game without Rasheed Wallace, sidelined with a sprained left ankle.
