Minnesota's 80-79 win over Detroit on Friday night ensured that Indiana's Rick Carlisle will coach the East at the All-Star game in Los Angeles on Feb. 15. It will mark the second time in All-Star game history that a different head coach from the same NBA team will lead the All-Star squad in consecutive years.
