SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Kobe Bryant and Rick Fox were activated Saturday before the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Utah Jazz.

Bryant has missed six games because of a sprained right shoulder, an injury sustained in a collision with Cleveland's Kedrick Brown on Jan. 12.

After Saturday's shootaround, Lakers coach Phil Jackson said Bryant felt healthy enough to return to the lineup. He was activated in the afternoon.

Bryant, who spent Friday in Colorado at a court hearing for his pending sexual assault trial, did not speak to reporters as he walked past with an ice pack on his right shoulder.

Fox has been on the injured list since opening day while recovering from surgery to repair a torn tendon in his left foot, an injury he sustained in the first round of last season's playoffs.

Also Saturday, forward Brian Cook was placed on the injured list with a broken right pinkie. Cook, the Lakers' first-round draft pick, was injured in Thursday's loss to Dallas and is expected to be sidelined four to six weeks.
