TORONTO (AP) Raptors star Vince Carter was activated from the injured list before Tuesday night's game against the Miami Heat.
Carter missed six games after spraining his left ankle in a game against San Antonio on Feb. 18. The All-Star forward returned to practice Monday. He appeared to be favoring the ankle while shooting jumpers and said Tuesday he wasn't 100 percent.
Carter is averaging 21.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists for the Raptors, who entered Tuesday having lost nine straight games. Toronto is danger of falling out of playoff contention because of injuries to Carter, Jalen Rose and Alvin Williams.
To make room on the roster, the Raptors placed forward Michael Bradley on the injured list with right knee tendinitis. Bradley totaled three points and 11 rebounds in just five games. He was activated from injured list Feb. 20.
