Allan Houston confirmed last night that he will not play in the Knicks' final two regular-season games, and there is no guarantee that the veteran shooting guard will be available for the start of the playoffs in 10 days.
"I don't think it's realistic I'll play against New Orleans at all," said Houston, who is eligible to come off the injured list on Monday. "Probably not against Cleveland. I just want to get healthy."
Houston, who is suffering from a sore left knee, reported yesterday that he still cannot run without pain. He is returning to Bedford, Mass., to receive from hydrotherapy treatment for his injury.
