Depending on what happens this summer, Jamal Crawford either put on an impressive audition for other teams or offered a late reminder why Bulls management should keep him.

Crawford scored a career-high 50 points Sunday to spark a 114-108 overtime victory over Toronto at Air Canada Centre and help the Bulls sweep the season series for the first time since 1997-98.

No Bull had reached 50 points since Michael Jordan?Crawford's idol?had 55 in a playoff victory over Washington on April 27, 1997.

Only three Bulls have reached that mark. Jordan accomplished the feat 38 times. Chet Walker scored 56 points on Feb. 6, 1972.

Did Crawford ever believe he would join such select company?

"Honestly, I did, if I could put two good halves together," he said. "Coach [Scott Skiles] drew up some great plays and my teammates kept looking for me."

Jalen Rose, who said Saturday that losing to his former team four straight times would be a "total embarrassment," led Toronto with 32 points.

"It's inexcusable," Rose said. "Jamal is like a little brother to me, but the reality is we can't allow a guy to have 50 against us."
