Michael Finley missed his second game with bruised ribs and the clock is ticking on him being 100 percent for the playoffs.

Finley said before Sunday's game against Golden State that he's planning on playing the final two games of the regular season. But he did not work out at all on Sunday to rest his sore ribs. The concern is that a significant blow to the injured area could sideline Finley further.

Coach Don Nelson said it is important Finley get some playing time in the final two games, given his history of coming back from time off.

"His first game back from an injury is usually a disaster," Nelson said. "We'd prefer him to play in the last couple."
