Robert Parish is not impressed with Rasheed's Wallace bravado, nor the quality of his play for that matter.

The Chief, as he was known, didn't have to worry about making guarantees because he had fellows like Larry Bird and McHale suiting up with him.  That spoke volumes.

"Laughable, that's what I think," Parish said about Rasheed's guarantee. "First of all, how could he predict the future? He doesn't know."
This was the consensus among yesterday's gathering of legends.  Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Oscar Robertson, Clyde Drexler, Abdul-Jabbar and Parish were in attendance.

The idea is that Rasheed should simply put up himself and not try to have his mouth do the work for him.  Otherwise, the value of Wallace to his team is somewhere close to the number Parish used to wear.
