Coming off the most productive year of his career, Erick Dampier will decide by next week whether he will remain with the Warriors or not.

"I'm going to think about it over the weekend and probably decide by the end of next week," Dampier told The Associated Press on Thursday in a telephone interview from Mississippi, where he lives in the offseason.

As a leading free agency candidate without the salary cap flexibility, the Knicks continue to be involved in virtually every key free agent in the off season, including Dampier.
