Look for one big party after another this summer in New York. Al Iannazzone writes that Knicks President Isiah Thomas will call Bryant, as well as onetime Knick Marcus Camby and Rasheed Wallace. Thomas is also expected to contact restricted free agents Jamal Crawford, Quentin Richardson, Manu Ginobili, and Stromile Swift.

"Definitely the top guys that are on the market we'll have conversations with," said Thomas, who was joined by several Knick employees, including coach Lenny Wilkens. "Whether or not we'll be able to get those players - our chances are pretty slim because we don't have a lot to play with.

"The thing we have to try to sell convincingly is the opportunity to play in New York and for the Knicks and be a part of one of the first teams in the last 25 or so years to win a championship here. That could be a pretty exciting thing for some players."
