The blockbuster trade to bring Stephon Marbury back home to New York, in which the Knicks traded away their first-round selection, makes the Draft a little less interesting for the Knicks this year.

"We made the decision in the Marbury deal to give up our pick and we don't regret it," Knicks president Isiah Thomas said.

Thomas is looking at a group of prospects for the team's second-round pick at 43, including Jackson Vroman, Tim Pickett and Romain Sato.

There is always the chance that the Knicks could pull of a deal at the eleventh hour to get a higher selection.  Head coach Lenny Wilkens said, "When you don't have a first-round pick, it's not as exciting but you still listen, still talk, you never know what teams want to do.  You keep your ears open."
