On the first day of the start of the free-agency period, the Knicks announced their summer league roster.

Rasheed Wallace is not yet ready to talk to Knick president Isiah Thomas.

An interesting addition to the Knick summer league roster was Zach Marbury, brother of Stephon who went undrafted three years ago.

The team will include center Cezary Trybanski, power forward Michael Sweetney, second-round pick from UCLA, small forward Trevor Ariza, shooting guard DerMarr Johnson and point guard Frank Williams.

Jamal Crawford would look for a sign-and-trade before accepting the mid-level offer sheet the Knicks can provide. "If Chicago is just going to offer him the mid-level ($4.94M), he's not going back," Goodwin said. "Twenty nine teams can offer him that."
