According to Marc Berman of the New York Post Knicks GM Isiah Thomas has been talking with Minnesota about a potential Wally Szczerbiak for Kurt Thomas deal.

The stumbling block, as always, appears to be the four year extension that Isiah gave Kurt last season.

"They're actively trying," one GM said. "Part of the problem is that extension."
