Tony Parker said his contract extension talks with the Spurs have progressed this week.

"I'm very confident we can get something done," Parker said. "Hopefully in the next three or four days."

One source with knowledge of the talks cautioned that the two sides still have sizeable obstacles to overcome.  The deadline for a contract is October 31st.
