Despite a full offseason of angry words directed at now-Nugget Kenyon Martin, Tim Thomas now gets his chance to back up his talk with action.  That said, however, do not expect any fireworks according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

"There's been words, but I don't expect anything," Thomas said. "I just expect a good, competitive basketball game. I mean, my job is cut out enough, having to guard Carmelo (Anthony)."

Asked Friday if he regretted anything he said last spring, Thomas said no.

"You guys know me," he told a small group of reporters before the Knicks played Washington Friday. "Anything that comes out of my mouth is the truth -- or, it's the way I feel, put it like that. So come Sunday, I'm just looking forward to a competitive basketball game."
