Rumors around the NBA grapevine have Gary Payton heading out of Beantown before the trade deadline.

Danny Ainge is supposedly shopping the Glove, trying to gauge his value in a potential trade. Ainge doesn't have any intention of giving away Payton, but he would not hesitate to part ways with him if the right deal came along.

Payton would prefer to be traded to a title contender in the Western Conference.
