After the Kings beat two playoff teams on the road by two points, Philadelphia and Washington, they had to travel down to Charlotte and battle the expansion Bobcats and the young team was more than a road-weary Sacramento team could handle on Tuesday.

With five players in double-figures, the Bobcats defeated the Kings by a final score of 94-87.  Sacramento made a 4th quarter comeback to make it close, outscoring the Bobcats 27-21 in the final frame.  Luckily the Bobcats were up by 13 entering the 4th and they had room to be imperfect.

The Kings had trouble with Charlotte?s defense, shooting just 35-82 from the floor and 4-16 from 3-point land.

Emeka Okafor made another subtle argument on why he deserves Rookie Of The Year consideration by scoring 11 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

The veteran leadership of Brevin Knight was there as usual for the Bobcats, as he scored 17 points and dished 10 assists.
