Despite the fact that Portland tied the club record for the worst season ever this year finishing at 27-55, the Trailblazers extended the contract of general manager John Nash on Wednesday.

Blazers president Steve Patterson and owner Paul Allen had said they would wait to make a decision on Nash until after the final game of the regular season.  Details of the extension are not known at this time.
