Dan Issel's agent Warren LeGarie, confirmed Wednesday he has had discussions with Minnesota about the team's coaching opening.

"We're still waiting to hear back," LeGarie said. "He was pitched for an interview."

Issel, 56, is seeking a return to the NBA. He resigned from the Nuggets in December 2001 after making an ethnic slur to a Hispanic spectator.
