The Miami Heat plan to stake a claim in the paint early on in Game 5 against the big, pounding Detroit Pistons after they saw Detroit drop 38 points on them from the interior in the Heat?s Game 4 Loss.

"Our game is to try to keep the ball out of the paint," coach Stan Van Gundy said after the game. "We didn't do that in the first half at all. When you play the defense we play, you're not going to force turnovers but you should be able to keep the ball out of the paint. You should be able to rebound. We didn't keep it out of the paint. We were undisciplined on some guys, we missed rotations; we just were not very good defensively in the first half."
