Provided there is no lockout next season, Allan Houston is ready to give the New York Knicks a productive season.

The oft-injured guard has missed 94 games in the last two seasons because of arthritic knees; however he expects to be healthy for training camp in October.

"Yeah, yeah," he said. "I'm making a lot of progress."

This may be a moot issue as the Knicks have to want Allen Houston to be part of their plans for the 2005-06 season.  Houston is not sure if they will still want him.

"I don't really know," he said. "But I don't really think about it. I just think about being fortunate enough to continue to play."
