The Orlando Magic have shown interest in signing Portland free agent Shareef Abdur-Rahim according to John Denton of Florida Today, but the odds of this happening are slim.

Abdur-Rahim's agent, Aaron Goodwin, said that he was unsure how his client would fit in Orlando because the Magic already have Dwight Howard entrenched at power forward. Goodwin, one of the NBA's most powerful agents, also represents Howard.

"It really depends on how they would use Shareef, but he's a (power forward) and Dwight is a (power forward) too," noted Goodwin. "I don't really envision Dwight playing (center) and Shareef is definitely a player who should be coming off the bench. We'll just have to see how it plays out."
