The Boston Celtics signed their second round draft pick out of Providence College, forward Ryan Gomes, to a three-year deal worth around $2 million.

"It shows a lot of confidence in Ryan Gomes from the Boston Celtics," his agent, Andrew Woolf, told the Globe. "It's a win-win situation, a perfect match. Ryan loves being a Celtic, and the Celtics love him, obviously, given the solid contract he just signed."
