LeBron James sat out Cleveland's exhibition game against the Celtics on Tuesday night as a precaution after experiencing some pain in his left arm in the Cavaliers' preseason opener a day earlier.

James strained his left pectoralis in Cleveland's 116-94 victory to the Wizards on Monday night.

Team physician Dr. Richard Parker advised James to sit out Tuesday's game. James is listed as day-to-day.
