Allan Houston has been shut down until next week after stopping practice with pain in his left knee, The Newark Star Ledger reported.
"It comes up," Houston told the paper after watching practice from the sidelines for the second consecutive day. "But the bottom line is however God wants this thing to work out, that's how it's going to work out. That's what I trust in. If it's meant for me to do this, then God will make it happen. If not, He won't. Period."
Houston is suffering from patellofemoral arthritis in his left knee, which caused him to miss 62 games last year.
