Philadelphia 76ers President Billy King announced today that the team has waived center Steve Castleberry and guard Olu Famutimi. With the roster moves, the Sixers roster now stands at 15 players.

Castleberry, a 7-foot, 225-pound center out of Rider University, appeared in six games this preseason and averaged 1.0 rebound in 6.7 minutes per game.

Famutimi, a 6-5, 220-pound guard from the University of Arkansas, averaged 4.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in 15.0 minutes per game over four contests.

Both Castleberry and Famutimi were signed by the Sixers as free agents on Oct. 3, prior to the beginning of training camp.
