Bulls general manager John Paxson said he's been talking to many teams about trade scenarios with the NBA trade deadline six days away. However, it seems Paxson has been listening to some one-sided offers, Bulls coach Scott Skiles said.

"Around the league, we're in an enviable position,'' Skiles said before the Bulls' 117-84 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday. "We have good, young players. We have draft picks. We have money to spend. And yet we're in last place in our division. So it's just logical that people would call and gauge if we're getting jittery or if we feel a need to make some sort of big move.

"I know if John thought it made sense, he's not afraid to do something. On the other hand, we happen to like our young players and value them. So we're not going to do anything silly, either.''

Skiles also has some say in what moves Paxson may make.

"Those are all John's decisions -- he's the boss,'' Skiles said. "But we talk about it every day. I've yet to be saddled with a player without John asking me.''
