Wally Szczerbiak, who underwent surgery April 11 on his left knee, got a thumbs-up from team doctors yesterday according to the Boston Globe, and is getting close to the point where he can return to the court.

``Everything is going really well," Szczerbiak said. ``The swelling is down. The strength is up. It's just what we expected."

``I'm doing some shooting off the dribble," he added. ``But I'm not yet ready for full-court work. The doctors will be the ones who will determine that."
