Paul Pierce and Danny Ainge are expected to soon discuss a contract extension, despite comments recently made by Antoine Walker.

?I?m not going to comment on that stuff,? Ainge said. ?I think Paul is happy in Boston, and I guess Antoine still has some issues with us. But all my conversations with Paul have been very positive. He?s said he wants to continue his career in Boston.?

Signed through the 2007-08 season, but Pierce has an option to sever the deal next summer and become an unrestricted free agent.
