On the first day of free agent negotiations, Sixers GM Billy King was on the phone reaching out to the representative of at least one high-profile free agent: Detroit Pistons center Ben Wallace, according to the Courier Post Online.
According to ESPN.com, the Pistons are "reluctant" to offer Wallace, who turns 32 in September, anything more than a four-year deal, although it would start at between $11 and $12 million.
